The sound of The Dirty Guv’nahs is a compilation of classic rock, R&B, soul, country and gospel with loud guitars, swinging rhythms, decorative organ and soulful vocals. They were voted “Best Band in Knoxville” in 2008 and 2009 and are growing rapidly around the southeastern United States.

They have been together for about 3 years now and started in their hometown of Knoxville, TN.The band has a good time during each performance and wants you to enjoy yourself as well. With six members, they are as close as a family and their togetherness shows through in each performance. They truly remember their roots and stay humble. In fact their message is: “This is not about us, and we all need family to get by.”

Their self-titled album The Dirty Guv’nahs includes songs like “We’ll Be the Light,” “Borrowed Time” and “Afternoon Eyes.” Their spring tour dates have recently been released and can be checked out on their website: thedirtyguv’nahs.com.
