Farm Aid is a benefit concert that takes place every year to raise awareness about the loss of farmers’ and their families’ homes and farms due to economic hardship and to raise funds to support them.

Musicians Willie Nelson, Neil Young, and John Mellencamp organized the first Farm Aid show in 1985, and Dave Matthews joined the Board of Directors in the year 2001.

In the past twenty-five years, the organization has raised more than $37 million to benefit those at risk of losing their livelihood and to promote a strong and resilient agriculture system.  This year, the benefit will be held in Milkwaukee, Wisconsin, on Saturday, October 2.  The lineup consists of the following artists and bands:
